By downloading, installing, accessing, or using RouseUp (the "App") or its associated website, published by Creative Apps Lab ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
RouseUp is an Android application distributed exclusively through Google Play that requires you to physically perform camera-verified physical exercises (such as squats, push-ups, or jumping jacks) to dismiss an alarm. Using the App requires signing in with a Google Account (see Section 4).
You must be at least 13 years old to use RouseUp. If you reside in a jurisdiction where the age of digital consent or legal majority is higher (such as 18 years of age in India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you must obtain verifiable consent from your parent or legal guardian before signing in or using the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
Google Sign-In: To access the App and establish an authenticated user session, you must sign in with a valid Google Account via Android's Credential Manager.
RouseUp is provided completely free of charge. There are no subscriptions, paywalls, recurring fees, or hidden charges. All 14 exercises, streak heatmaps, and alarm tools are fully unlocked for all users. The operation and maintenance of the App are supported by non-intrusive advertisements delivered through trusted advertising partners (such as Google AdMob).
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

RouseUp is not a medical device and does not provide medical or physical therapy advice. The exercises included in the App are intended solely for general fitness and habit-building. You should consult a qualified physician before starting any exercise routine, particularly if you have pre-existing injuries, cardiovascular issues, joint pain, or other medical conditions. Stop exercising immediately if you feel dizziness, chest pain, nausea, or acute physical distress. You assume full and exclusive responsibility for any injury or health complication resulting from your use of the App.
The App accesses your camera solely to evaluate your body posture and count repetitions in real time. Camera frames are processed strictly in RAM and are never recorded or transmitted off your device (see our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for ensuring that you have a well-lit, clear, and hazard-free physical space before performing exercises. We are not liable for any personal injury or property damage incurred while exercising.
The App, including its visual designs, logos, software code, on-device pose state machines, and audio assets, is the proprietary property of Creative Apps Lab and is protected under applicable intellectual property and copyright laws.
The App integrates certain third-party services to deliver its core functionality:
Your use of these integrated components is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
You may discontinue using the App and terminate your account at any time by deleting your account in the App (Profile → Delete Account) and uninstalling the software. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App or our APIs if you violate these Terms.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted alarm reliability, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Creative Apps Lab, its directors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including missed appointments, wake-up delays, lost profits, personal injury, or device damage resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Creative Apps Lab from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms or misuse of the App.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to Creative Apps Lab, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may amend these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after modifications signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
